Member of the Month: Jackie Landon

A big huge congrats Jackie Landon, GPT’s first Member of the Month! It’s been great to watch Jackie’s confidence grow as she has knocked down goal after goal and keep reaching for new ones.┬áRead on to learn about her goals and why she loves being part of the GPT family.

Meet Jackie Landon, training with GPT since June 2013.

 

 

What were your first goals when you joined GPT?

I wanted to lose weight, tone up and become stronger.

 

What are your goals now?

I want to potentially enter a meet and be able to squat 200, bench 115 and deadlift 300.

 

What’s your favorite exercise?

Prowler!

 

What’s your least favorite exercise, and why?

Band chin ups. I have a hard time doing more than 5 at a time.

 

What do you like best about training at GPT?

I like the fact that I have a workout typed out for me everyday. Ryan and I talk about my goals and he gives me the appropriate workouts to prepare for those goals.

What’s your biggest accomplishment since you started training at GPT?

I have lost weight and gained muscle. I feel more comfortable in my body and have realized that I am stronger than I thought.

 

If you’ve trained in other gyms, what makes GPT stand out?

GPT has more of a family feel than any other gym. You can be sure, that if you’re going for a PR, that the whole gym will be there supporting you and cheering you on. You can be sure that Ryan will be there to help you with any questions you might have.

 

Would you recommend us to friends and family?

Most definitely! You can be sure that you will reach your goals if you train at GPT.
